Springtime Las Vegas visitors preferring a more "regal" event will find higher casino hotel room rates prevailing throughout the Las Vegas strip during The Miss USA Pageant. The best strip-area room rate on Saturday April 18 again belongs to The Tropicana at $71.82. For those wishing to be closer to The Miss USA action, rooms at Planet Hollywood are listed as $199 for the same night.

People looking for a more family-friendly event close to the Las Vegas action will find it at the Clark County Fair and Rodeo April 9-12. Located just a one-hour drive Northeast on I-15 in Logandale, NV the Clark County Fair and Rodeo features all of the elements of any county fair - rides, games, a junior livestock show and of course, fair food!
